The Canadian Jewellery Group & Mike's Miracles team up to support Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada!
The Canadian Jewellery Group has teamed up with Mike's Miracles for the past number of years to support Ronald McDonald Houses right across Canada. Each year in August at the annual National Convention in Toronto the CJG holds events to help raise funds. Through silent auctions, scrap gold donations and individual donations our jewellers and suppliers have raised well over $150,000.00 which has been divided up between the 17 RMH's across the country. Thank you Canadian Jewellery Group for your ongoing generosity and support!

Once again, through the generosity of many members of the Canadian Jewellery Group, over 300 "Tigger" stuffed animals were delivered across Canada to hospitals, women's shelters and other locations so that children who were sick or in need of comforting were able to receive their own "Tigger". A huge THANK YOU to the jewellers and suppliers who participated!

2011 Million Dollar Hole in One Competition
The Million Dollar Hole in One Competition took place from Tuesday, August 16th until Sunday August 21st at the Westport Driving Range on Third Street. Proceeds went to Mike's Miracles in support of Ronald McDonald House Hamilton. We thank the Kiwanis Club of St. Catharines for their continued support!

The guys from October Drive are at it again!
Yes, once again, on Saturday, May 28th, the guys from October Drive went to Camp Trillium! Not only did they donate the money from their golf tournament to Mike's Miracles, they went and built the dock themselves with help from their friends at Dewdocks! Way to go guys!
You are definitely making a difference in the lives of children battling cancer!

Saturday, May 28th was the date for the Rankin Cancer Run. With the largest turnout yet, The Rankin Cancer Run was a huge success! Thank you to all who participated in this special event. Over $600,000.00 was raised for cancer support here in the Niagara Peninsula.

Today is McHappy Day!!
If you purchase a coffee, Big Mac or Happy Meal at McDonalds today, $1.00 will be donated to Ronald McDonald Charities! "Ronald McDonald House" is dear to our hearts and benefits in a big way from McHappy Day! We also have the privilege of helping out at the Ontario Street McDonalds at different times throughout the day as well.

Tammy, so many people are proud of you not only for running and finishing a marathon (which is amazing in itself) but also for fundraising for the Walker Family Cancer Centre. Cancer touches everyone's lives in one way or another and we all appreciate your efforts in raising money to help with cancer care in our community. We commend you for this!

One year ago today...on April 26, 2008
Dear friends,
At 10:00 pm on April 26th of last year, Mike lost his battle with cancer, but gained eternal life. It's hard to believe that it was one year ago. Sometimes it feels like yesterday and other times it feels like a million years ago.
We thank God for the 12 wonderful years he shared with us and yet wish we could have had more time with him. For this we will have to wait until our time on earth is finished...we have this promise.
Thank you for the support you give us, in so many ways. Your caring helps us to get through these tough times...you are "Miracles in our lives"!
Thank you for supporting "Mike's Miracles". We promise to continue to do good things for sick children, to make a positive difference in their lives, and to honour Mike's memory by doing so.
We pray that this first anniversary of Mike's passing will be a time of happy reflection for all of you, as we think of the many ways that Mike touched our lives, as we all deal with the sadness of missing him, and as we remember God's promise of eternal life! We pray for you as you pray for us.
Mike has gone home ahead of us and is celebrating with Jesus and with all of our loved ones who have gone before us.

On March 1st, on what would have been Mike's 13th birthday, Tigger stuffed toys were delivered to the children on 3b, Mike's former ward. We hope this put some smiles on the children's faces!

"Mike's Miracles" toy drive for McMaster Children's Hospital - December 5th
The "Mike's Miracles" team delivered toys to wards 3b and 3c at McMaster Children's Hospital on Friday December 5th. 3b was the ward where Mike spent his last two Christmases. It was great to see so many children happily selecting their gifts. It was a special time for Mike's friends, family and volunteers as they handed out the presents to waiting children. **See pictures in the photo gallery**

On Christmas day we were able to deliver more toys to sick children at McMaster Children's Hospital and also to sick children at the St. Catharines General Hospital. This was made possible through your generosity in donating so many toys!
